Growing up in Hong Kong, Anica's family went for yum cha nearly every Sunday. Dumplings, chicken feet, char siu bao, cups of tea, a table that kept filling up. Of all the dishes she grew up on, char siu was the first to become a jerk.

Eat it on its own, or cut into rice with kitchen shears.
